Dust deposition sampling is the measurement of dust falling out of the air at a particular point. It should therefore be monitored where dust fallout is potentially a problem – i.e. at receptors surrounding a site, not normally at the site boundary.

As a stand-alone gauge the DustDisc is very effective for monitoring dust deposition at dust receptors. Its relatively small size allows for it to be installed discretely on windowsills etc.
