Reporting

Output from the analysis is entered in the DustScan database. This enables tracking and analysis of sampling data, builds up a comprehensive historical record on a site-specific basis, and enables a wide range of analysis and reporting. Using the database, A range of client reports can be generated, in addition to the short factual report (see output ) which is provided as part of the standard reporting procedure. Reports can be presented in paper or electronic format.

The digital format means that reports can be tailored to meet specific requirements. Integration with spatial information, such as site plans, is possible by overlaying 'dust roses' on drawings (see left). Comprehensive surveying and plotting services can be provided, so the gauges can be accurately located to provide detailed and graphic observations of dust flux within the monitoring zones. It is also possible to integrate results from several sites via the database and through GIS interfaces.

Further enhancement can be achieved by merging DustScan output with weather data. The use of electronically logging weather stations is always recommended with any dust monitoring operation and we can advise on suitable equipment and installation if required.
