We are currently looking for a newly qualified or early career dust/air quality consultant to join our growing team.
Our consultancy team undertake a range of expert dust, air quality and odour assessments typically for planners, developers, energy and mineral sector clients. A key part of your role will be supporting the delivery of assessments using a range of predictive models. Site work may occasionally be required; this will typically involve undertaking inspections and reviews of site processes, as well as installing air quality monitoring equipment. This will provide you the opportunity to travel all over the UK, meet our clients and learn about their industries and operations. Our work ranges from one-off assessments to complex on-going expert witness cases.

The ideal applicant should have a 2.1 in a relevant Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, such as Environmental Science, Geography or Geology/Earth Sciences, and should have a keen interest in environmental and air quality issues.
Education and Experience
- A relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (minimum 2:1), such as Environmental Science, Geography, Geology etc.
- Prior experience in a consultancy role (e.g. placement/internship) is desirable but not essential; all training will be provided.
Language and Technical Skills
- Good command of written and spoken English and have a high standard of technical report writing
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel
- Comfortable with processing and analysing large datasets and producing maps, plots and figures for publication
- Experience using GIS software highly desirable
- An understanding of air quality dispersion modelling desirable but not necessary
- Experience undertaking site/client-facing work is desirable but not necessary
- Friendly and courteous telephone manner

Details
Location – Witney, Oxfordshire. Predominantly office-based, with occasional site work throughout the UK. Flexibility for home working once suitably experienced.
Contract – Permanent, full-time (typically Mon-Fri, 09:00-17:00).
Start Date – Flexible, but ideally as soon as possible
Salary – £25,000 – £35,000 (dependent on experience) with benefits and potential profit shares
