Air Quality Assessments
Air quality assessments may be required by a planner, developer or operator as a result of national and/or local policy and legislation. DustScanAQ has expert air quality consultants who use their experience to advise clients on how to navigate these policy areas within the sphere of planning and permitting.
Reports for planning applications
In the planning system, air quality assessments are principally used to assess two different things: whether the proposal will adversely impact air quality as the location of sensitive receptors and/or whether the site of the proposal is suitable for the proposed use with respect to air quality.
To assess this, our air quality consultants produce a range of air quality report types depending on the requirements of the job. These include:
- Air Quality Screening Assessment:
- Detailed Transport Emissions Modelling:
- Detailed Point Source Emissions Modelling:
- Air Quality Neutral Assessment:
- Air Quality and Dust Management Plans
