DustScanAQ offer expert air quality modelling services using appropriate software packages such as ADMS, AERMOD/AERMET and CALPUFF for use in:-
- Air quality modelling assessments
- DMRB assessments
- Air quality neutral assessments in London
- Assessments of air quality impacts on ecology
- Stack height modelling
DustScan has also developed dust dispersion modelling techniques where potential dust impacts from on-site dust propagation can be quantitatively assessed at locations such as site boundaries and receptors, with DustScan dust monitoring used for model validation and testing.
Predictions are made utilising dust monitoring results and customised site-specific empirical models and by the adaptation of standard air quality modelling software packages. The development of this work is ongoing and is the subject of DustScanAQ staff member John Bruce’s doctoral research.
